The T2 Fitness Foundation continues on the role of T2 Fitness, who has made it its mission to assist high risk individuals in our community with heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes to unlock their truest potential. 

​
Our foundation engages in educational and charitable activities in order to conduct research and provide services to enhance the health, fitness level, wellness, and quality of life of its citizens, permissible under section 501(c)(3).

To provide ongoing support for participants outside of our 12-week programs, we recently launched the T2 Fresh Start Walking Meetup Groups.

The walking meetups are free and open to the public, providing a year-round opportunity to encourage movement, improve social health, foster community connections, and enhance cardiovascular health.

We have ongoing walking groups happening in three cities in Virginia, currently: Norfolk, Suffolk, and Franklin.

Our comprehensive wellness program is designed to address health disparities affecting individuals in under-resourced communities, who face challenges due to social determinants of health and chronic medical conditions. Our 12-week program is FREE and includes fitness training, diabetes- and heart-healthy cooking classes, life coaching, food-based mental health group therapy, and health monitoring to improve one's whole health.

At the T2 Fitness Foundation, we are committed to mitigating health disparities that affect individuals living in under-resourced communities in the United States. In 2021, we launched the T2 Fresh Start Initiative to make healthy living equitable, inclusive, and attainable for all. Our program educates individuals diagnosed with heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes, helping them make a fresh start and transform their lives.

Our program design takes special consideration of the unique challenges faced by these individuals, including access to food, nutrition, exercise, mental health, and community support. By creating a multifaceted program, we address the complex issues contributing to health disparities.

Our leadership team is dedicated to championing diversity, equity, and inclusion within our organization and the communities we serve. They actively foster an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives, ensuring that our initiatives reflect the needs and experiences of all community members. This commitment extends to our hiring
practices, partnerships, and program development, aiming to build a more inclusive and resilient community.

Our goal is to provide health and wellness resources to underserved populations, building a stronger sense of community for all. While our programming is open to anyone facing challenges in maintaining a healthier lifestyle, the T2 Fitness Foundation specifically constructs its initiatives to address the longstanding difficulties experienced
by underserved groups in our communities.
